Terms & Conditions
The City of Lake Elsinore strives to guarantee that you will be satisfied with the recreation classes and programs in which you participate! If you are not satisfied, please call or write us. We will be happy to arrange a transfer to another section of our program or cancel your registration and send you a refund. Refunds will be granted if received in writing via email or official post mail and the following guidelines are met:
- A workshop, Youth Sports Clinic/Camps, and Trips/Tours - a full refund will be given when notice is received by the Community Services Department at least five working days prior to the date of the workshop, youth sports clinic/camp or trip/tour. No refunds will be issued after this time.
- Classes - a full refund will be given when notice is received by the Community Services Department at least five working days prior to the first scheduled class. Requests received by the Division after this time, but before the second scheduled class will be refunded and assessed a $5 administrative fee and the cost of the conducted class. No refund will be issued after the second scheduled class. Materials fees are non-refundable. Swim Lesson Classes that are canceled for reasons outside the City’s control (weather, contaminations, etc.) will not be refunded. In some cases account credit could be given, no monitory refunds offered for swimming lessons.
- Memberships - Refunds for membership passes will be prorated from the date of purchase and/or prorated based on the number of uses. A $5 administrative fee will apply to all refunds.
No cash refunds will be issued. Cash payment refunds are issued by check and are subject to the schedule of our check run each month. If refunded by check, please allow 6-8 weeks for processing. If refunded to a credit card, all refunds should be reflected on your next statement.
