Cobb's adult basketball league is offered in the summer and winter season. We provide leagues at the following Recreation Centers:

Adult Sports - Cornhole

Cobb PARKS Adult Cornhole Program is offered during the spring and fall seasons. Games will be played on Thursday nights at the Al Bishop Complex.

If we do not have a minimum of 5 teams per division, we will combine the division into one. Players ages 16+ are welcome to play. Teams will play a best of 3 series each week.

Leagues offered include:

Beginner Open League - A combination of men and women may play on each team. Geared for teams that hit the board a few times and occasionally hits the hole.(Uses league bags)

Intermediate Coed League - Coed league will have 1 man and 1 women on each team. Geared for teams that hit the board consistently and a few in the hole.

Adult Sports - Flag Football

Cobb PARKS Adult Flag Football Program is offered in the spring, summer, and winter seasons. Games will be played on Sundays at Terrell Mill Park. Games could start as early as 8:30am and as late as 9:30pm. Game times will be determined based on the number of teams in the league. Schedules, standings, and rosters will be updated online through our League Management system QuickScores. The league website can be found at www.quickscores.com/cobbcounty.

Leagues offered include:

  • Coed 8V8 League - All levels
  • Men's 7V7 B League - Geared for Beginner to Lower Intermediate teams.
  • Men's 7V7 A League - Geared for Upper Intermediate to Advanced teams. 

If we do not have a minimum of 5 teams per league, we will combine leagues.

Adult Sports - Kickball

Cobb PARKS Adult Coed Kickball Program is offered during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Players ages 16+ are welcome to play. Games will be played on Thursday nights at the Al Bishop Complex in the spring and fall and at Terrell Mill Park in the summer. Each team must have at least 7 players and no more than 11 players on the field at a time. At least 3 females must take the field at all times. Everyone on the team can kick.

Leagues offered include:

Coed A League - Geared for Upper Intermediate to Advanced teams. Sidearm pitching is allowed. 

Coed B League - Geared for Intermediate teams. Pitching is underhand only. No sidearm pitches allowed. 

Coed C League - Geared for beginner or new teams. Pitching is underhand only. No sidearm pitches allowed.

Adult Sports - Pickleball

Pickleball is a unique sport that is not expensive and is simple to learn!  Learn how to play this fun variation on tennis.  Equipment will be provided, but you can bring your own if you desire.

Cobb PARKS Adult Pickleball Program is offered during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Games will be played on Thursdays nights (6:30pm-9:30pm) and Sunday afternoon/evening (2:00pm-9:00pm). Leagues will be played at Larry Bell Park and Harrison Park. All teams are guaranteed 12 games. Teams will play double headers (2 games) each week. Following the regular season, there will be a one week single elimination tournamament. Make-up games will be determined by league coordinator. Teams will play double headers each week. Rescheduling – We do not reschedule matches once the schedule has been posted before the season begins. You may submit a scheduling request before the season, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Leagues will be categorized into men’s leagues, coed leagues, and women’s leagues. Ratings will be used to create skill divisions in each league. If there are not enough teams within your skill level to create divisions, levels will be combined. Players ages 16+ are welcome to play. Teams will play a best of 3 sets each week.

Skill Ratings:

2.0-2.5 Novice - Can rally the ball, keep score
3.0 Intermediate - Makes good serves, returns the ball quickly, knows basic strokes
3.5-4.0 Intermediate/Advanced - Controls their shots, knows many different shots, uses strategy
4.5-5.0 Advanced - Mastered all skills and strategies

Leagues: Teams may carry up to 5 players on the roster. 

Men’s League – 2 men must play on each team.

Coed League – One man and one woman or two women must play on each team.

Women’s League – 2 women must play on each team.

The $70.00 fee includes the cost for the person registering and their partner.  Only one team member must register the team and pay the fee.  (Their partner should not complete a separate registration).

Men's & Coed Recreation Leagues - Geared for Beginner to Lower Intermediate teams. 1HR/1UP

Men's & Coed Competitive Leagues - Geared for Upper Intermediate to Advanced teams. 3HR/1UP

Adult Sports - Spikeball

Cobb County PARKS Adult Spikeball Leagues may be offered in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Leagues will be 6 week season then a single elimination tournament. The cost is $30 for teams or $15 for individuals. For any questions please contact conor.hoyne@cobbcounty.org or call 770-528-8861. 

Spikeball is a team sport played by two teams of two players. Opposing teams line up across from each other with the Spikeball net in the center. Once the ball is served players can move anywhere they want. The object of the game is to hit the ball into the net so that the opposing team cannot return it.

Leagues offered include Women's & Coed Leagues. Skill league levels include the following options. 

A Level: Advanced - Geared for advanced, competitive, or high level teams 

BB Level: High Intermediate - Geared for intermediate to upper intermediate teams

B Level: Intermediate - Geared for intermediate to lower intermediate teams

C Level: Beginner/Recreational - Geared for beginner or recreational teams

If we do not have a minimum of 5 teams per league, we may combine leagues.
