Classes: A refund will be issued for requests received at least 10 full business days prior to the first class date. Subsequently, a 50% refund will be issued for requests received at least 5 full business days before the start of class. No refunds thereafter. Class transfers follow the same guidelines. A full refund will be issued for cancellations made by the parks and recreation department.
Camps: A refund will be issued for requests received at least 10 full business days prior to the camp start date. Adventure Activities: A full refund will be issued for requests received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled activity date. No refunds thereafter. Adventure Activity transfers follow the same guidelines.
Recreation Center Passes: A refund or upgrade will be issued for requests received within 10 full business days of purchase. No refunds thereafter. Pass changes follow the same guidelines.
Athletic Leagues: No refund will be issued except under special circumstances as approved by the department. For special requests, please email us or call (770) 781-2215.
Facility Rentals: For community buildings, pavilions, and recreation center facilities, a refund will be issued for requests received at least 10 full business days prior to the rental date. No refunds thereafter. All rentals over $300 are subject to a $100 non-refundable fee at the time of refund. For all other rental types, please check the rental agreement. Reservation changes follow the same guidelines. A full refund will be issued for cancellations made by the parks and recreation department.
Campsites: Reservation cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the check-in time will receive a refund minus a $ 10.00 service fee per site. No refunds will be processed for cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in time. Each time a modification is made to an existing reservation a $10 service fee per site will be assessed.
