Updated March 20, 2019 - The John P. Davan Indoor Pool, the gymnasium, lockerrooms, and The Hit Pit - essentially everything in the Cornelia Warren Recreation Wing - will continue to be closed and offline for several more weeks -- until at least April 22, at the earliest -- until permanent power and heat are restored to these areas. Re-opening the pool may take a bit longer than everything else, possibly into May. All other parts of the facility have re-opened and are currently functioning as usual. Please note, though, that the ENTIRE BUILDING will be CLOSED April 15-21 for Patriots' Day (4/15), the transfer of power from the current temp unit to the new permanent electrical system (4/15-4/20), and Easter (4/21). During this time, vacation camp will re-locate next door to Congin School, General Assistance will move temporarily to City Hall, some morning fitness programs will take place at Presumpscot Commons, Woodfords Family Services will utilize the First Evangelical Free Church on Rt. 302, and Global Premiere Soccer will run their camps out of Portland Sports Center. Meals on Wheels WILL NOT make deliveries during the closure, and the Westbrook Community Food & Resource Center will be CLOSED that week on April 16. All other programs, activities, or services will either be postponed, cancelled, or closed during the shutdown. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Additional information will be posted here and on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/WestbrookCommunityCenter as it becomes available. Additional questions? Please feel free to call us at 207.854.0676, option 2, during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm.
