FACILITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Building Access: Monticello Parks and Recreation will provide access to the building(s) and room(s) on the designated days and time at least 30 minutes prior to the event. Organization/individual agrees to keep City facilities and room space in the same condition as it was before the usage time, show respect to all city staff while on city property, respect all city owned equipment, furniture and all areas throughout the building and prevent damage from misuse or other negligent actions. Food or beverages brought in during the event must be cleaned up by the organization/individual before vacating.
Payment: The total payment is to be paid in full before the date of the event. Monticello Parks and Recreation will invoice the organization/individual at the time the Facility Use Agreement is sent out.
Use of Monticello Parks and Recreation/Facility Names: The organization/individual shall not advertise or communicate a class or event as a Monticello Parks and Recreation class or event nor shall the Monticello Parks and Recreation logo be used to advertise without prior written permission from department. Monticello Parks and Recreation and facility names shall only be referred to as the location of class or event.
AQUACTIC CENTER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESIDENT vs. NON-RESIDENT
To be considered a RESIDENT your primary residence must be within the city limits of the City of Monticello. Residence within the School District or owning property within the City limits does not qualify you for the “Resident” rates. A NON-RESIDENT is one whose primary residence is outside the Monticello city limits.
Each family must purchase their own Family pass. Examples of Passes that are NOT permitted are as follows:
- A grandparent cannot buy a pass for their grandchildren, for example, unless the primary residence for those grandchildren is the residence of the grandparent.
- A babysitter cannot buy a pass for children they babysit. Each child must possess a pass or pay daily admission.
- Babysitters of children with passes must also pay daily admission if they do not have their own pass.
CLOSURES
Closures may occur for, but not limited to, the following reasons: temperatures fall below 70°, 20 patrons or fewer for 30 minutes any time after 6:00, as required by the State of Iowa for fecal accidents, swim meets.
POOL PARTIES
In addition to the rental fees, all pool parties will require the lifeguards to be paid $10.00 per hour (min. 3, use 1:30 ratio if party is greater than 90), per guard by separate checks or cash for each. The number of party participants will determine the number of guards that will be needed for the event.
