Aquatic Center Closings

The Aquatic Center, or portions thereof, may be closed at the discretion of the manager on duty given the following conditions:

• Air temperature below 68° F
• Imminent inclement weather
• Fewer than 25 people in the pool for at least 30 minutes

Diaper Policy

Any child who is not fully toilet trained must wear an appropriate swim diaper while in the pool. Diapers must be a tight fitting rubber or plastic pant worn underneath the child’s swim suit. No exceptions. Reusable swim diapers can be purchased at the Aquatic Center.

Food Policy

Food and drink are only allowed in specially designated turf and concession table areas. No food or drink is allowed on the pool deck. Glass containers and aluminum cans are prohibited. Coolers are permitted to be brought in to the Aquatic Center provided they are no larger than one cubic foot. Aquatic Center Management and Staff reserve the right to inspect all coolers upon entry to the Aquatic Center and remove any glass containers, aluminum cans and/or alcohol. Outside food may not be ordered from and/or delivered to the pool.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is prohibited on Aquatic Center grounds. Aquatic Center Management and Staff reserve the right to inspect all coolers and bags upon entry to the facility. Any alcohol found on Aquatic Center grounds will be removed, and patrons may be asked to leave the facility under the discretion of Aquatic Center Management and Staff. 

Admissions Policy

All patrons entering the Aquatic Center must hold a current Aquatic Center Membership or purchase a Daily Admission. Sorry, no exceptions. Same day re-entry to the Aquatic Center is permitted only with a re-entry stamp.

All non-members entering the Aquatic Center will be charged the General Admissions Fee. Non-Members accompanied by an Aquatic Center Member will be charged the Guest Fee.

The Grayslake Aquatic Center does not accept bills larger than $20. 

Refund & Rain Check Policy

In the event the Aquatic Center is closed due to inclement weather or lack of attendance, rain checks will be issued to patrons presenting a daily admission ticket printed within two (2) hours of the closure.  Rain checks can be used within 2 weeks of issuance. Sorry, no refunds.
