Terms & Conditions
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all park patrons, we ask all visitors to adhere to our guidelines listed below:
GENERAL
No peddling, soliciting, or commercial enterprise permitted in the park without prior consent of the Parks Department.
Portable concessions may be brought upon park grounds for special events, subject to approval.
Any damage to or removal of parks property, living or otherwise will be grounds for prosecution.
Disorderly conduct, abusive language, noisy disturbances, or disregard or theses rules and regulations will be grounds for immediate removal from the park by the Sheriff or authorized Parks Department employee.
Parent(s) or guardian(s) will be held responsible for unacceptable conduct or any damage caused by their children.
Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision.
No person shall have in his/her possession any intoxicating beverage while visiting parks property.
Equipment furnished on the grounds are solely for participants convenience and are used at their own risk.
Air rifles, BB guns, bow and arrows, or any dangerous weapons may not be used on park property.
Metal detectors are not permitted on parks property.
No non-licensed motorized vehicles allowed at any time in the park.
Motor vehicles shall stay on park roads, and park only in the designated areas.
Motor vehicles parked elsewhere may be towed at the owner's expense, no auto repairs allowed anywhere at any time on park property.
Disturbing or careless operation of motorcycles, automobiles, or other types of motor vehicles will be grounds for removal from the park and/or citation by law enforcement authorities.
ANIMALS
Pets are permitted in the park only if they are on a leash that is five (5) feet or less in length.
Pets shall be kept under supervision at all times and not allowed to run at large or to commit any nuisances in the limit of the park.
Violation of the regulation will lead to removal of both animal and owner.
Horses and other animals (excluding leashed dogs) are permitted per park‐approved activities.
LAKE, NATURE TRAILS, AND WILDLIFE PRESERVES
Swimming, frog gigging, and boating are prohibited.
However, fishing by persons adhering to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife laws is permitted.
Any donations of waterfowl, fish, or other wildlife must be made through the Parks Department.
Also, special permission must be granted by the Parks Department for special lake events.
WASTE DISPOSAL ‐ STORM ‐ FIRE PROTECTION
Garbage and trash must be placed in the proper receptacles.
Anyone seen littering grounds or lake is subject to citation.
Fires are permitted only in fireplaces.
No open fires are permitted elsewhere on park property.
Bar‐B‐Que grills are allowed, but must be in grassy areas.
