Lower Macungie Township’s policy is to follow the CDC Guidelines (5/24/22) which states that a person can end isolation after five full days, if you are fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) and your symptoms are improving. You can end isolation if you did NOT have symptoms, after at least five full days after a positive COVID test.
If you got very sick from COVID-19 or have a weakened immune system, you should isolate for at least 10 days. Wear a well-fitting mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside. Consult your doctor before ending isolation.
If your child is feeling ill or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, please do not send them to the playground program.
